1 comment :
AD & H-DS D.I.D chains recently out in the Philippine market to replace the standard and heavy duty D.I.D chains. Today I went to my favorite motorcycle spare parts store here in our place and I've seen these new D.I.D chains.

In case you don't know D.I.D chains (Daido Kogyo Co., Ltd.) are used in Motocross and Moto GP bikes. You can also see these chains factory installed in sport's bikes and leisure bikes.

Features of AD & H-DS D.I.D Chain:

AD & H-DS has a forged solid bushing that gives more durability compared to the old chains with just bended bushing. AD is 60% more durable than the previous standard D.I.D chains while H-DS is 30% more durable than 428H (Heavy Duty).

Beware of counterfeit D.I.D chains as I've seen bad guys selling it to a cheaper price. Buy genuine product only at your trusted Motorcycle Spare Parts and Accessories Stores. To ensure you're not buying a fake product always look for the Philippine SGC Corp. and D.I.D hologram sticker.

Motorcycle Parts And Accessories Business Start up

218 comments :
Are you planning to start a new business?  No idea or can't decide what to start? Well, look around you. Either your living in the city or in the province you can see a two-wheeled vehicle in the streets. Because of the high fuel prices commuters tend to use 2-wheels as their mode of transportation thus there is a very high demand on motorcycles in the Philippines so engaging in motorcycle parts and accessories business is a good idea.

In this post I will guide you on how to start and what you need to know about motorcycle parts and accessories business. There are four important things to consider when starting a motorcycle parts and accessories business. These are: Money, Supplier, Location and Mechanic.

Money

Since your planning to start a new business, I expect your fund isn't a problem. But most likely you asked me, how much money do I need to start this kind of business? Well, that depends on your pocket. If you want a good start Php300,000 to Php500,000 is enough. What if your money is below those figures? We are only talking here about the stocks. You may start also with Php100,000 for your stocks only and buy only those items that are salable then you can add your capital later.

Supplier/Wholesaler

It's a good thing If you already have your mechanic. Ask the mechanic which items are salable. List down and canvass from wholesalers and compare the price. Also note the most used motorcycle brand and model in your area (e.g. Honda, Kawasaki, Yamaha or Suzuki). These are the motorcycle parts and accessories that you should buy. If you're near in Caloocan you may go to 10th ave. to hunt a wholesaler. I recommend Cyclemar or Tres Hermanas in 10th Ave. Caloocan (this is a free listing).

Location

Your shop and workshop should be located in the main streets in your area, make sure your market can easily find you. Find a place close to a busy road or intersection. Make sure you have spacious workshop for your customers and your mechanics. If you can't find such location and you wanting to operate immediately rent a low cost space while searching your best location for your business then transfer later on.

Mechanic

One of the main key to success in this kind of business is the mechanic, I could say this is your business partner. If possible get the most knowledgeable mechanic around you. Good mechanic will give you repeat sales.

If you want this all set for you, you may opt a franchise. The franchise fee for Motorcycle Parts And Accessories business is more or less  P100,000.
